Pyhä for families
Pyhä is full of experiences for families both on and off the slopes.
The renewed Family Adventure Area is a favorite of the whole family
The main target of recent years' development has been the Family Adventure area. It has grown in size with new slopes, forest trails and the Huttu lift into Family Adventure. There is a new Huttu hut equipped with landscape windows. This is the place to enjoy the lunch break with the whole family.
In addition to the new hut, there is a new sledding hill, and the very popular pole sled has moved near the hut. The graffiti house next to the Huttu lift with its Northern Lights paintings has also been renovated.
However, the most significant novelty in the area is the new MiniPark. It has become one of Pyhä's most popular slopes, where you can find suitable-sized jumps for beginners. In addition, there are various rails and presses on the slope, from challenging rails to easy presses suitable for beginners. A new lighted slope called Pikku-Ukko has also opened at the bottom of the Huttu-Ukko slope, where you can find a line of four mini boxes.
The new, high-quality PyhäLinna apartments are located near the family adventure area.
In addition to the family adventure area, Pyhä's slopes offer skiing for snowboarders and skiers practicing their very first turns. Huttumaa Adventure area offers a carpet lift free of charge, and a training hill with a gentle profile. Here you can start your skiing hobby easily and safely.
Huttumaa is located next to the lower station of the PyhäExpress chairlift and the rental shop Alavuokraamo.
Huttu Adventure trail on the North slope takes you to winding slope trails in the forest. You can practice forest downhill skiing, say hello to the reindeer, or even grill sausages at the covered campfire site located along the slope.
In Pyhä, you will find even two snowparks, favourites of many kids and youth. The Polar Madness slope has bigger jumps, corners, and curves. This snowpark which is slightly inspired by a cross-track with its curves and waves, lets your creativity run wild. The family adventure slope has a bit smaller and easier parking lots suitable for beginners. This slope has various rails, presses, and pipes, a smaller curve, and a jump. It's easy to get your first touch of park skiing here. The fast Huttu lift guarantees many repetitions through the Park.
It is easy to take the first steps in the world of freeskiing in the area's forest trail areas and other specific areas. The beginners' freeskiing courses of the Pyhä ski school are mainly organized in the Family Adventure area, according to the skiers' skill level. After the first slides in the family adventure area, you can continue the freeskiing courses on other off-piste area lifts and freeride areas of Pyhä.
You will find many free events on the slopes. Some of them are organized almost every week, and others are mainly on holiday seasons, such as skiing holidays and Easter. The ski school will give you individual instruction and adventure guidance every day of the week. You can find Pyhä's slope adventures in the event calendar.
The new Ski-Inn apartments PyhäLinna are located right next to the Family Adventure Area, in the best location in Pyhä. PyhäLinna is an effortless option for a skiing holiday for families.
