PYHÄ MAGIC MONTAGE

Pyhä Magic Montage is a film about Pyhätunturi and its friends, who return to the mountain year after year, as soon as the first snowflakes fall from the sky.
These friends share a passion for snow and skiing, and they tell a story about their own mountain. Spring takes them on their own paths, but only for a moment. Fortunately, a new winter brings back that feeling, which is hard to explain but everyone recognizes. Pyhä Magic Montage is a love letter to the mountain – a secret you want to both keep and share.
Aarni Toiviainen’s 16mm mountain film will be screened for only the fourth time on May Day (Vappu).

Tilaa olla - Vilma Laaksonen & Taija Timonen

Tilaa olla is a documentary about women who express themselves through freeride skiing. The story highlights the sense of community among women, as well as their love for winter and skiing. This sense of community is a great strength in driving the sport toward greater equality. One of the best things in life is having the space to be yourself.
