The Original Free'kend: Huttu-Ukko Challenge

The Original Free'kend freeride event will take over Pyhä from March 21 to March 24, 2024. The heart of the event consists of three competitions. The winners, best performers and best vibes of all series of the competitions will be rewarded.

The Huttu-Ukko Challenge is competed on Friday afternoon in Huttu-Ukko slope (2). Judging criteria will be style, originality and controllability. You get to define the line and pace yourself, so participating is fun for everyone. Karhu Bar serves spectators in Huttutupa hut. The hottest equipment novelties of the season are to be found on Friday in Free'kend's Test Center near Huttutupa hut. Huttutupa hut is located on slope 11 and you can walk to Huttutupa when you walk across slope 12 from the hotel platform towards the National Park.

You can participate in the Huttu-Ukko Challenge with Free'kend and Junior event passes, 3 competitions pass or register only for the Huttu-Ukko Challenge. If you wish to participate in the competition, please contact: events(a)pyha.fi. You don't need avalanche rescue equipment in the competition, because the race is on the slope area. Back armor is recommended and wearing a helmet is mandatory for participants. Huttu-Ukko Challenge race information will be held at Huttutupa hut at 1:00 pm. The competition starts at 1.30 pm.
