The Original Free'kend: Aittakuru Freeride

The Original Free'kend freeride event will take over Pyhä from March 21 to March 24, 2024. The heart of the event consists of three competitions. The winners, best performers and best vibes of all series of the competitions will be rewarded.

Saturday March 23 there will be a legendary style competition in the magical Aittakuru. There are challenging as well as easier lines in Aittakuru gorge. Spectators can catch a glimpse of the race from the edges of Aittakuru and find the venue by following the red Salomon ribbon from the Northern slope area.

You can participate in Aittakuru Freeride with Free'kend and Junior event passes, 3 competitions pass or register only for the Huttu-Ukko Challenge. If you wish to participate in the competition, please contact: events(a)pyha.fi. The competitor needs at least an avalanche transmitter as avalanche rescue equipment. A back armor/backpack is recommended and wearing a helmet is mandatory. Aittakuru Freeride's race information will be held on Saturday at 10AM (the location is yet to be specified). The competition starts at 11AM.
