Pyhä's popular après-ski and evening restaurant, Carlsberg House, is being revamped for the upcoming winter season. Carbar Oy / Jouni Laakkonen has been selected as the new restaurant operator, and the restaurant will be managed by the young couple, Jasper Laakkonen and Aune Lampinen.
The restaurant, which has become a beloved meeting place for many visitors to Pyhä, will maintain its relaxed and warm atmosphere as a family-friendly café, lively après-ski spot, venue for unforgettable parties, live music and events stage, as well as a cozy living room and gathering place for music lovers.
There will also be some exciting new changes. Before the winter season begins, the restaurant will undergo renovations to make it even more inviting, the menu will be refreshed and expanded, and the concepts for events, music programming, and playlists will be fine-tuned with Jasper and Aune's energetic approach and solid expertise. So, a new chapter is set to begin for this legendary slope and evening restaurant, which has long been known for entertaining and joyfully serving its guests.
We warmly thank Sinkkiravintolat Oy for a wonderful 12 years as the heartwarming host of Carlsberg House. Aki and his team have turned the restaurant into one of the most popular and beloved meeting places for both friends and strangers, right in the middle of Pyhä's unique and even magical resort.
The revamped slope and evening restaurant will open in November when Pyhä’s winter season kicks off. With the renovation, we are also considering what name the restaurant will have in November. We will provide more details about the restaurant's concept and name closer to the season's opening.
